What can I lodge to Heritage Tasmania using PlanBuild Tasmania?
City of Hobart
Heritage Tasmania is now using PlanBuild Tasmania to receive Applications for Minor Works Approval, communicate and provide outcome for applications lodged in the City of Hobart municipality only.
For properties located in this municipality, councils can refer, and you can now submit application directly to Heritage Tasmania using PlanBuild Tasmania.
If a referral to Heritage Tasmania is required for your Application for Planning Permit, City of Hobart will communicate to Heritage directly.

My application has been referred to Heritage Tasmania, what does this mean?
An Application for Planning Permit may be referred to Heritage Tasmania if they are required to provide input. Once the Heritage Tasmania assessment process is complete, they will provide a response to the Council. It is possible that Heritage Tasmania might need more information before they can provide response, in this case Council will contact the applicant to request for further information.
