PlanBuild Tasmania supports councils and referral authority processes, however the role of assessing and approving applications sits with the relevant organisation.

Council
If you have a question about an active application you currently have with a council, please contact them directly.

TasWater
If you have a question about an active application you currently have with TasWater, or need information about the process or applying, please contact them directly.

If you are unsure what you might need to apply for, you can also start an enquiry and submit a Request Advice to the relevant Council or TasWater.
When you use the Request Advice function in PlanBuild Tasmania the relevant Property Report will be submitted with your enquiry to council. This includes map, details of the planning zone, codes and other information that affect the selected property so council can better assist your enquiry.
